Anna Holley Avrett

 The more she does, the more energy Anna Avrett seems to have. Fueled by the work itself, she lives by the mantra, “Do all you possibly can do.” With three children, a masters degree in architecture and her most recent venture as the owner an eclectic apparel/home store, Avrett appears to be fulfilling that dream.

I often say...
“I love you.” You never know when it will be the last opportunity you have to say these words to your loved ones. Don’t just throw these words around carelessly either. Mean it when you say them and, even better, accompany them with kind actions.

My favorite app is...
A toss up between Shazam and 1Password. Shazam allows me to identify new music to inspire my creativity. 1Password safely protects a ton of private information...all under one password for quick and easy access on my iPhone.

My biggest frustration is...
Having to end my day when there is so much more that I want to do. However, I am consoled by the fact that I can crawl into bed with my laptop and continue many of my creative endeavors into the wee hours of the night.

I am a huge fan of...
Pattern, color and texture. Vignettes is testimony to this and it is what gives the store its joyful personality in my opinion. I don’t think I ever met a color I didn’t like and, if I did, I would just put it with colors that I did like.

People assume I am...
Always busy. For the most part, they are correct. My family recently lost a close family friend...He lived by the principle that unless a man undertakes more than he possibly can do, he will never do all that he can. I have often tried with difficulty to explain why I feel compelled to involve myself in so many activities and endeavors. These words really sum my feelings up perfectly.
